Silly bugs since v4.0
I've been trying to collect bugs and feedback that you report here and on Discord. I know the game is published in more communities but if I do as I did like in the first versions spending time looking at all the communities I wouldn't be able to spend so much time working on the development of a new version (LA is published in 7 different communities or at least the ones I personally publish it in).
In short: The "high/low" graphics option is going to disappear in the next version. So there is only one way to play: With all animations enabled.
It gave me a lot of problems when I separated it even if it looks like a simple "copy/paste", it takes extra game space (images) and every time a bug is from this it also gives me extra work because if you play on high everything works fine, always.
I decided to do this because I've been collecting feedback for two versions now and the summary is that those who have limited hardware will play just as badly (or just as well) on both high and low graphics.
I've tested this myself on my mobile phone, which runs at a steady 30fps and takes a little while to react to interactions (it's a pretty limited phone) and it works the same in both cases.
So in the next version (0.6.0) this option will disappear.
That said I leave you a configuration that has a Discord user and that he shared recently with everyone and LA works better for him with this configuration vs the default configuration of Renpy.
(Shift + G to open it)
NOTE: It may be that not everyone plays better with this configuration, maybe it's a matter of testing a bit (LA and any other game made with Renpy).
Best regards and see you soon with the beta release.
