Devlog#13: v0.1.0 ready, what's next?

Well... working on v2. Beta week is over, the nightmare is over (I think). We now have the first EA available (3 weeks).


I haven't written any devlogs these days because I didn't have anything interesting to say, unless you find it interesting to read how the game keeps crashing because I fixed a bug that broke other things... Programming.

It's partly understandable, as it not only includes the new features from the months leading up to the pre-launch, but also because I've restructured so many things over the last few months that something was bound to break. I'm surprised it hasn't been as chaotic as I expected. It's worth noting that I spent almost a whole week trying to fix all the critical bugs before I even had a stable beta.


That said, let's get to this month's content!


If the public version will be available in three weeks, you can expect v2 to be available in... three weeks. Yes, my idea is to go back to having a new version ‘exactly’ every month.

The difference here is that in the first few versions, there will be less main content, so to speak, as I want to focus on adding everything I would have liked to have in a first or second version.


Anyway, let's take it step by step. To give you an example:

In this v2, I would like to spend a few days thinking about whether I should redesign the Journal or leave it as it is and try to improve it a little (add some QoL). Or, on the other hand, consider changing the inventory.

Also, I would like to decide whether to add extra portraits related to naughty things (sexiness).

Speaking of the girls' interface, I'd like to take a second look at the ‘hints’ as I think it could be improved.

As for content outside the interface, I'd like to add a special shop, which ironically is an interface but... it will include a mini-quest with Anna, which, upon completion, will unlock the shop. I won't give any more details now, but Anna isn't the one who will sell you things; it's a "new" mysterious girl.

As for the girls... it's complicated. There are a lot of girls at once (six). So I have to see what I'll do with this. Possibly only one of the secondary girls will have a new level, while the main girls should all have a new level.


Unfortunately, there won't be any new main quests. Right now, I want to focus on the rest of things, especially the girls. I'd rather have all their stats available before moving forward, as it's mandatory.

We'll see how everything progresses, as I plan to make this version a bit short, since I also need to use that time to work on things outside of LA:NH.


For example, these last few days, in my free time or when I needed a break from all the bugs, I started setting up my own website: http://keisistudio.com/

Right now, there's nothing there, but I have everything set up. Right now, I'm using it to post #patrononly posts directly there, so using the Patreon Login plugin should mitigate automated leaks. I know, this is the internet, I can't avoid leaks, but having my own website is something I've always wanted. In fact, it was a community goal on Patreon years ago, so... why not? I'm sure I can put it to good use in the future.


In the next days/weeks, I'd like to work on different things outside of LA:NH, such as reviewing all the communities to prepare everything for the public release, I'd like to be able to re-release some of the anniversaries so that they are all available, I want to revive Lisapi's Adventures at some point (although there would be no new content and I wouldn't continue it, at least initially), the same with Lust Age v22 which will be available again soon, I have to prepare a new ‘exclusive’ version for LA:NH (Patreon) since right now it doesn't really have anything ‘exclusive’ apart from some extra perks (x2 gold, x2 materials and things like that)... among other things I'd like to work on in the coming weeks/months (like my website, for example).

In the coming days, honestly, I'm going to work on LA (old project) v22 to make it available again. It should be noted that it will only be available on Patreon and that, apart from trying to fix some crazy bugs, it will include some small new/extra content. As soon as I've decided what to do with it, I'll let you know.

I've been working like crazy for the last few months, just like the old times, and that's not good... I need a break, but I don't feel like taking a full holiday because I get bored, so I'm going to take a few days off to rest a little and work on things unrelated to LA:NH v2 at the same time.

It's going to be a tough week, so I want to disconnect a little from the main project...
